The Foire du Valais is a massive event annual in the canton. This fair (with over 400 exhibitors) is held in Martigny and welcomes over 220,000 visitors each year. The fair began on the 28th September and continues until Sunday 7th October 2018. There is a wide and varied programme and each day comes with a theme. If you live in the Valais and want to know more about the area from a business, tourist or resident’s perspective, this is the place to be.
Today Friday the 5th of October is “Digital Day Valais”, on Saturday 6th, it’s “Snow Economic Forum and Talent Day”, the final day on Sunday is simply called “Closing Day”.
Each year the fair invites different guests of honour to the fair and in 2018, the city of London is one of them.
